Working with the Black Country Food bank team on this campaign was a real treat – from using AI to generate a ‘Wheat font’ to beautifying all the schools resources that were delivered to 300 local schools.

When compared with last years’ campaign we saw a 20% increase in food donations, and more schools than ever taking part.

We started by helping to refine the campaign goals, strategise how to use existing marketing channels, generate a ‘look and feel’ and create secondary marketing goals, such as converting these one off food donors in schools to become mail subscribers.

We ran email campaigns adapted to three different audiences – Church leaders, schools and the public. We also placed ads on school network noticeboards and church networks.
